PEX clamps are also commonly called PEX cinch clamps and are pre-formed Stainless steel bands with a distinctive ear. PEX clamps are used in combination with a PEX clamp tool (or PEX cinch tool) to compress the PEX tubing over the barbs of a PEX crimp style fitting. They come in sizes from 3/8 in. to 1 in. with clamp size corresponding both to the pipe and fitting size, for example, 1/2 in. clamps for 1/2 in. PEX tubing and fittings, 3/4 in. - for 3/4 in. pipe and fittings and so on. PEX flow PEX clamps are the best on the market and set the industry standard in quality, precision and reliability. They are manufactured to ASTM F2098/F877 standards, feature universal clamp tool compatibility and 360 step less and tamper-evident design.

Oetiker PEX Cinch Clamps: really really nice clamps from Switzerland. Doesn't slip. Cinches easily. PEX plumbing is the way to go. Installs quicker, joins easier, cinched PEX fittings have never leaked for me, and they sweat less in damp cellars. I was shown this 'new' brand. I never heard of Oetiker. It turns out they have been making many types of clamps for the Swiss and European markets, for vehicles and industry, beverage and medical, and home plumbing, since 1942. And it was Hans Oetiker who invented the "ear clamp", the basic design of many PEX-clamps. These are really great clamps! I guess when most of your business is various sorts of clamps, you obsess about the little things and deliver really refined clamps. The stand-out feature is that these go on "slightly snug". You know how brand "A" or brand "S" clamps slip around while you try to get the crimpers on? These tend to stay where you put them! Much less fuss. Most designs leave small un-crimped areas under the cinch or around the backside. These have interleaved fingers to give ALL-around pressure on the PEX. Finish is very good, no edge-burrs like one brand I won't use again. This large pack will do the main-runs for several homes, or a lot of large PEX in industrial work. It is nice to have a large bag and save a trip-back to pick-up more. Highly recommended! Quality and value and nice to use.
