    . One of a series of scrapbooks kept by Elaine Brockhouse, 91-year-old niece of William D. Pawley, who initiated the formation of the famous American volunteer group of airmen known as the Flying Tigers who supported China in World War II from an aircraft manufacturing and supply base he organized in India. He was a confidant of Presidents Truman and Eisenhower and U.S. ambassador to Peru and Brazil after World War II.
    The scrapbook is 9 X 12 in. and thick. Covers her junior year with Mory's menu; Columbia vs. Yale football program + ticket; many campus activities including junior show, concert programs, playbills, swim club, Outing Club Olympics; personal campus photos; Ringling Brothers circus program, Havana, Cuba + ticket; Oriental Park, Havana race program + betting ticket; Ice Follies; Sigma Alpha Epsilon Founders Day program, M.I.T., New Hampshire ski photos.
