    SCRAPBOOK of LAURENCE L. BELANGER of Santa Ana, California, who went to BOZEMAN MONTANA for the SUMMER OF 1950 to Teach a Summer Course at MONTANA STATE COLLEGE. He brought his family along for the long road trip that included National Parks and lots of fishing.
    Includes a 1950 Montana State College Bulletin for the Summer Session 1950 mounted on the inside front cover, a telegram offering Belanger the job in Bozeman pasted on the next page, lots of photos, postcards and ephemera. There are copious handwritten descriptions, notes, and diary type entries. The trip included Bozeman, Yellowstone, fishing spots, etc.
    Stiff scrapbook covers, string bound, 9x11.5 inches, 38 pages (19 leaves). 50 photos most 3.25x4.5 inches, some 3.25x5.5 inches. Postcards, brochures, route map.
    What makes this scrapbook most interesting are the handwritten annotations to everything mounted within.
