Charming Antique American Handmade Scrap Album. Covers are made of a folded large Chromolithograph Advertising card for L.M. Rumsey Excelsiop Lawn Mowers; Sixteen pages are made of various colored polished cotton or linen cloth with edges bound in colored yard blanket stitch; pages include examples of Chromolithograhic Tradecards (incl. Woman's Suffrage Stove Polish, Hoyt's German Perfume, Muzzy's Cornstarch, Dwight's Soda, Chicago Northwestern Railway, Niagara Corn Starch, Ludlow's Fine Shoes, Clark's O.N.T, Gold Coin Tobacco, Seven Barks), Diecuts, Scraps and Cutouts of Flowers, Fruits and Vegetables, a Reward of Merit, a New Year Card, and possibly some fruit labels, some are one to a page, others in a collage arrangement. Size of book closed: 7" X 6". "As is" Condition; Covers in tatty condition - center fold split, and under cloth revealed, edges of covers rough with chipping, creases and pieces out and lifting in places; corner tips bumped, some frayed or with pieces out; some of the surfaces of the cloth pages have wrinkles, foxing, discoloration or stains esp. to some borders, scrapes, folds, or pieces out of some of the paper pieces.
