THIS LOT Includes:
An antique 32-page 12" H x 9" W Homemade Book made with magazine cutouts (ads, pictures, comics) pasted onto scrap cloth.
The book is quite worn, dog-eared pages, one page torn and sewn back in ages ago - but still an interesting snapshot of times past, and things this family found interesting at that time.
There is an inscription on one of the pages mentioning the great-grandmother of Richard Blanchard:
"They call this a fine reproduction of Richard's great-grandmother Blanchard."
I believe this book was made for him as a child, since the majority of the photos and papers in the bins pertained to his and his wife's families. Richard was born in 1920, so I
assume
this book to be from his early childhood.
