NOS Nice Purple Amethyst Faceted  Gem Mother's Ring .40 Ct #507
This is a ideal size natural amethyst gem for most mother's rings
I am the cutter of this nice purple amethyst precious gem
It was cut, and polished in the USA on diamond wheels and disc.
It  was cut for stock and has NEVER been mounted or worn.
I cut it back in the 1980's when I was doing jewelry work on the side.
I am now downsizing and listing my excess stock of cut stones.
Pictures were taken outside full mid day sun, and may look different with different lighting.
Most mother's rings fit approx a 5 mm gem.
It is approx .40 carat, and about 5.28 mm round
As seen it is a nice medium purple color and  under 10X loop it appears to be a clear clean gem.
This would be a striking gem in any ring or pendant.
OH! Last picture is some of the  lot of broken amethyst crystal lot this gem was cut from so buyer can see it is totally natural.
