Description

The Lift-N-C Jig gets its name for the way the top plate lifts up and opens wide for easy loading (lift 'n see). Simply install drill bushings in the top plate and locators in the base to make a finished jig. Choice of four sizes.
The handle operates a sturdy, durable rack-and-pinion mechanism that lifts the top plate and tilts it back. Pulling the handle forward pivots the plate forward, parallel to base. Precision bushings and pins align plate with base for excellent repeatability.
Pulling the handle completely forward lowers top plate into firm contact with the workpiece, locking top plate securely (Note: The top plate does not exert downward force unless pressure is applied manually with handle). Handle mounts on either side.
For tapping operations, workpieces can be drilled in the "locked" position, then easily tapped in the "loading" position.
