    Description

    This folk art wallet is made leather with hand tooled designs.
    The wallet is a trifold, full length for checkbook and bills with 7 compartments. One compartment has a flap, and there is another pocket behind this. The center section has three pockets with scalloped-edged dividers, and the other end has a 2 pockets. All edges are joined with leather blanket stitching. Four of the panels have an oak leaf and acorn design, and the center panel also features a deer in the forest with oak leaf motif. The initials GDM, presumably the artisan, are tooled into an inside end pocket.
    The eyeglass case has been sold already, so it is not included in this listing. Only the wallet is available.
    The only damage to the wallet is some minor ink spotting on the pocket with the flap.
    Wallet measures about 7" x 4". It is vintage 1970s, and shows wear from use, and that lovely softness that develops on handled leather.
    It is very supple, not dry or cracked
